Nutrition & Wellbeing Morning in aid of Macmillan

The brilliant girls at Keppleworth Cooks have organised a morning dedicated to health and wellbeing. As well as a 'pop up' Dandelion shop I will be speaking on one of my favourite subjects - meditation! Here are all the details you need, please come along!

10am Antonia Jones - Antonia is a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. She is an enthusiastic advocate of prevention being infinitely better than cure and will speak at this event sharing with you some easy take home tips and tricks to help you and your family stay well.

10:45am Amber Macintosh - Amber is a yoga teacher and nutrition coach. Her work balances the benefits of ancient traditions with the latest research in functional medicine for a modern approach to holistic wellbeing. Amber will share breathing techniques and meditations to help you find a calmer mind and healthier body.

Autumn Nutrition Workshop

I will be joining Emily in her lovely home and retreat, Treetops, for a nutrition workshop. Together we will explore nutrient dense recipes, food grown supplements, rest and movement to support body and mind in the colder months, £45 per person.

My work balances the benefits of ancient traditions with the latest research in functional medicine for a modern approach to holistic wellbeing. In this workshop I will share my passion for real food and correct supplement support, built up over three years of research and study in culinary medicine. I will be incorporating the latest nutritional research, which has transformed the way we now look at our physical and mental health. You will come away with great nutrition and general lifestyle tips as we work through:

  • Recipes that work for breakfast, lunch & tea!
  • Plant powered ideas
  • Porridge, Bircher Museli & Granola
  • Pancakes & Sugar Free Jam

I am thrilled to have been invited back to the beautiful Blaegrove Barn to bring you a Nutrition & Meditation Workshop dedicated to the importance of gut health. 

My work balances the benefits of ancient traditions with the latest research in functional medicine for a modern approach to holistic wellbeing. In this workshop I will share my passion for, and knowledge of, gut health built up over three years of research and study in culinary medicine. I will be incorporating the latest nutritional research, which has transformed the way we now look at our physical and mental health. You will come away with great nutrition and lifestyle tips to boost your immune system so that we head into Winter health and happy. 

We will start with a nutrient dense breakfast bowl, there will be a break for fermented drinks with snacks, and throughout the morning you will explore:

  •  How nutrition influences the immune system so we can avoid Winters colds & coughs
  •  Benefits of fermented foods, with lots to try, so you can decide which to spend time making   & which to buy!
  •  Use of probiotics and supplements that help to support a depleted immune system

As always there will also be time for all your burning questions! Recipes will be naturally gluten, dairy and refined sugar free. 

 During the second half of our morning you will learn:

  • How stress affects our immune systems & breathing exercises to combat the detrimental effects
  • A simple meditation for immune health

My aim is for you to leave with the ability to inject a sense of calm into your every day whenever you may need it, learn techniques to strength the body starting with your immune system and increase mental flexibility.

£40 per person (including goody bag), with a maximum of 12 participants

Amber Macintosh of Dandelion Wellbeing, will show you how to maximise your physical and emotional wellbeing through meditation and nutrition. Amber balances the benefits of ancient traditions with the latest research in functional medicine for a modern approach to holistic wellbeing. In this workshop Amber will share breathing exercises, meditations and nutritious plant based food inspirations for radiant Summer health.

We will start with a nutrient dense breakfast bowl, there will be a break for breakfast smoothies and throughout the morning you will explore:

 - Breathing techniques to reduce stress and lift energy

 - Meditations to improve mental clarity & remove anxiety

 - Better breakfast recipes

 - Food grown supplements

In addition Amber will share practical tips for balancing blood sugar, key to the reduction of stress and inflammation. There will also be time for all your burning questions! Recipes will be naturally gluten, dairy and refined sugar free.

My last Yoga & Wellbeing Workshop with The Shalbourne Collection was over subscribed so we are putting on another in the beautiful Westcourt Barn in Shalbourne, near Marlborough. Here are the details:

9.30 to 11am - Vibrant Health & Renewed Energy

The first half of the morning will bring clarity to the many diet fads currently cluttering the wellness world and look at ways to get good fats and antioxidants everyday for vibrant health from top to toe. I will be sharing: 

  • Delicious Summer salad recipes with yummy dressings
  • Tips to successfully cut back refined sugar, restore energy & aid natural weight loss
  • Sharing the foods and supplements that leave skin glowing!

As always I will answer any burning wellness questions you might have.

11am - Break for Plenish Juices and healthy snacks

11.30am to 1pm - Yoga & Meditation

In the second half of our morning you will learn:

  • Breathing for renewed energy
  • Yoga postures to increase flexibility and vitality

The first half of the morning is dedicated to our gut health, incorporating some of the latest nutritional research, which has transformed the way we now look at our physical and mental health. I will be sharing: 

  • Better breakfast recipes so you and your kids can start the day without sugar and get some variety
  • Tips to support your immune system and avoid family colds, coughs & tummy bugs
  • Clear up confusion about supplements by learning about food grown which deliver nutrients where they are needed

I am excited to introduce the newest and most talked about health food brands to our online shop. To celebrate a Dandelion pop up shop will be set up next door to our friends at Jax Jeans and joined by the brilliant Gift Pop, Millie Pink and Beaver Pots.

I will be available between 11am and 4pm every day to give advice about supplements, the use of super foods and any general wellness questions you may have, just pop in and let's chat! I will be showcasing fermented foods as well as gluten free, dairy free and sugar alternatives, samples available to try.

Autumn Wellbeing Workshop

THURSDAY 8TH OCTOBER, 9.30AM - 11AM

Healthy eating articles flood our computer screens and trendy new superfood recipes fill our bookshelves.  Eating nutritious food is essential for our wellbeing but so to is exercise, sleep and management of stress, if we are to support a healthy immune system as we head into the Winter months.

I would like to invite you to a unique wellbeing workshop. We will cover key issues affecting our health, learning what to ditch and where to switch, which will incorporate the importance of good skincare. The workshop will be product led, so rather than telling you I will be showing you some of the best superfoods, explaining why these foods deserve this label and sharing best alternatives to sugar. You will take home simple breathing techniques that help you to detox mind and body. As a mother I am passionate about making sure everything that you learn in your workshop can be applied easily to each and every member of your family.

Why me? I am passionate about helping people to improve their wellbeing. Over the last few years I have sought out the advice and experience of leading wellness experts. The research alongside my yoga discipline is now reaping rewards for many clients and I would like to share more with you.
